On May 16, from 6pm to 8 pm, the City will host a virtual community meeting to discuss the third and final set of draft policies for the new official plan. These policies,
Outline where the city will grow.
Enable more housing types in neighbourhoods.
Promote housing affordability and rental protection.
Create opportunities for mid-rise buildings.
Update employment area policies.
The presentation will be recorded and provided online if you cannot attend the meeting. You can also provide your comments on the policies using their interactive commenting tool.
